Your Commitment to Fundraising

We need your help to spread the word about Take Steps, recruit new fundraisers and raise money towards the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation’s mission. Amanda, your Indiana Take Steps coordinator, is here every step of the way, and can't wait to work with you! Here is how to get started in 5 easy steps:

1. Work with Indiana Take Steps staff to set a team goal and create a fundraising plan.

2. Personalize your Take Steps fundraising page and team page, upload photos make sure to share why you walk!

3. Make a self-donation to jumpstart your effort.

4. Ask your network of friends, family, and supporters to support you by either matching your donation or joining your team and fundraising alongside you.

5. HAVE FUN and celebrate all of the steps taken towards cures on  event day!    

Raise $100 or more and become a Pacesetter

Pacesetters are team members and individuals who raise $100 or more. Pacesetters are given special recognition on walk day and will receive an official 2018 walk t-shirt, a Decade of Difference pennant flag and a wristband providing you access to walk day food and refreshments.

*Patients and children under 13 will receive access regardless of fundraising.

Matching Gifts

Many employers offer matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees, funds raised by their employees or a combination of both. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please visit the Foundation’s matching gifts portal.

The process for submitting a matching gift varies by company. Employers either have an online portal to submit requests or you will need to print out documents for submission.

If the latter, completed forms can be returned to:

Please be sure to include details about your donation or fundraising, including the Take Steps Celebration you’re participating in and team name if applicable. Your company may require proof of your donation or fundraising - donation receipts are sent to your email, but contact if you need anything re-sent.
