Me and Mom after the walk. (It was sorta windy last year!)

Last year my team raised over $2,000. Help me beat that this year!
This summer, I will be walking in the Take Steps for Crohn?s & Colitis Walk. Take Steps is the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America's (CCFA) national walk and the nation?s largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases.
Over 1.4 million American adults and children are affected by these digestive diseases. Many suffer in silence, deal with terrible pain, fatigue and digestive problems. Most are diagnosed as children or young adults. There is no cure, and for many no effective treatments.
Your donation will help support local patient programs (like the support group I run as a volunteer at my local hospital) as well as important research projects. Raising awareness (and funding) for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight for a cure!
Please consider joining my team and fundraising, too! The event involves a casual walk around DC's Tidal Basin, food, music and kid?s activities. The more money we raise, the closer we will be to making life more manageable for patients who live with these diseases every day.
Join me or donate to my efforts to support CCFA in finding a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis!
