My "gut check" was having 2 1/2 feet of my intestines removed due to damage from Crohn's disease. My youngest daughter Mish, my father, and I all have battled this life-long disease of the digestive tract. I'm asking you to write a "gut check", a donation to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation (CCFA), to help others suffering from these serious illnesses.

 I will be participating in the Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis Walk on June 13, 2010. Take Steps is CCFA's national event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases. It is a 3 mile walk to raise money for crucial research aimed at a future free from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
