Help Us Kick Crohn's Disease
This cause is very important to me and my family since my son, Matthew, has had to struggle with Crohn’s for over 6 years now and still there is no cure. He is considered to be in remission right now but this comes with countless doctor’s appointments, numerous colonoscopies, use of drugs with potential harmful side effects and great risk for infections. And that remission is typically temporary. The good news is that great strides in research are being made every day and we believe we’ll see a cure in Matthew’s lifetime.
The mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America is to cure and prevent Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support. Their latest research is investigating environmental and diet-related triggers that contribute to development of this disease. I am also thankful for this organization as they provide the most amazing week of summer camps around the country for kids with crohn’s and colitis. It’s at camp that Matthew realizes he is not alone.
I would appreciate your donation to help CCFA find a cure. Click on “Donate to Michael” - thank you so much for your support!
