    Sponsored by Aurora BayCare

Thanks to you, the Green Bay Take Steps walk was a tremendous success! Because of your dedication and hard work, we will continue supporting ground-breaking IBD research and patient programs. We hope you are feeling empowered for having made a difference, inspired about the future, and connected to those you met at the event.

On September 16th, Green Bay walk was attended by more than 200 walkers and still needs your help to reach our $42,000 goal. Patients, caregivers, family, friends, and supporters first celebrated at a festival at Aurora BayCare Medical Center Campus.

Is your donation eligible to be matched by your company? Visit our Matching Gifts Portal to find out. Reach out to your donors and ask them to get their donations matched also!

Do you still have donations to turn in? Please mail any donations not yet turned in to Take Steps, 17100 W. Bluemound Road Ste 101 Brookfield, WI 53005. Be sure to include a note letting us know your name and which team you were on.

You can continue fundraising through year’s end and all fundraising leading up to then will count towards our goal of $42,000!

    GB honored hero 2017

I am Stephanie Dantoin and I am 28 years old, born and raised in Green Bay. I am very honored and blessed to be the Honored Hero for Green Bay 2017. I am a huge antique nerd. I love to see something old and broken down and make it beautiful again. My boyfriend, Jordan, is a wonderful, amazing, caring person who makes me laugh every day. We have just added an adorable pupy named Gracie to our life and she is a delight!

I struggle with this Crohn's disease almost on a daily basis. However, dealing with this disease and all the little fun health issues that come with it, I feel that this disease has helped shape me into the person I am today. I am so glad I found the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and get to meet more people like me; people who understand my pain and frustration. I am an open book and I am so blessed to be able to tell my story. I pray that sharing my story will help someone who is in pain, and make sure they know that it will get better. Never give up, smile every day, and stay strong.

To hear the rest of Stephanie's journey, join us on walk day! To donate to Stephanie, visit www.cctakesteps.org/GreenBay2017

  • Volunteer
  • Volunteer

Thousands of volunteers have helped the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) work toward our mission to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to provide a high level of support, education, research, and resources to our IBD community.
