  • Sponsors
  • Community Partners

Our community partners have committed their time and money to support our mission to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. We want to extend a special thank you to those businesses and organizations who sponsor our event through monetary and in-kind donations, who provide volunteer support before, during, and after the event, and who offer matching campaigns to double or even triple the impact.

There is an opportunity for you to engage your local business community in your fundraising effort. Please reach out to Joan Mansfield-Hazaz at jhazaz@crohnscolitisfoundation.org or 518-225-4636 about involving the places you do business in the fight to find cures – and increase your fundraising thermometer along the way!

  • Local Hero
  • Honored Heroes

Our local honored heroes understand first-hand how difficult these diseases can be. They want to support patients like themselves because no one should face the challenges and uncertainty of IBD alone. Honored heroes use their stories to raise awareness of these diseases, raise funds in support of the Foundation's mission, and inspire hope to those living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Sammy Zayas, Youth Honored Hero - "I am so thankful to be the youth Honored Hero this year, and even though I believe that everyone suffering from this disease is a hero, I'm honored to share my story and raise awareness for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Please support me by either donating to or joining my team, Tract Stars!"

Maggie Gonzalez, Adult Honored Hero - "I’ve had countless hospital stays and surgeries, but I refuse to lie down and let this disease take over. I’ve learned so much through the years about courage, and learning to be okay with myself and my disease. Please join the Maggie Mays in celebration of life by donating now or joining our team - we need money for continued research and support and can’t do it without you!"

  • Volunteer
  • Volunteer

Thousands of volunteers have helped the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) work toward our mission to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to provide a high level of support, education, research, and resources to our IBD community.

"I had an awesome time volunteering at Albany Take Steps. Please keep me in mind for any other events in the future, I would love to help out." - Natasha Jefferson
