Howdy! My name is Nicole Edmunds, I am a 35 year old teacher at Farmington Middle School. I am both honored & excited to be named the 2017 Maine Honored Hero! I was officially diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at the age of 14. Since that time, I have experienced many strange and sometimes awkward situations. I am proud to support Take Steps and openly share my story to help raise awareness of that exactly Crohn’s is and how you can make a difference.

Check back for more of Nicole's story when she is done crafting it!

Without our volunteers, we would not be able to provide a high level of support, education, research, and resources to our IBD community.
