    On May 19, the Houston Take Steps walk was attended by more than 1000 walkers and has already surpassed our goal of $150,000 by raising more than $165.000. Patients, caregivers, family, friends, and supporters celebrated at the festival and walk at the Houston Zoo.

    Is your donation eligible to be matched by your company? Visit our Matching Gifts Portal to find out. Reach out to your donors and ask them to get their donations matched also!

    Do you still have donations to turn in? Please mail any donations not yet turned in to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation South Texas Chapter, 5120 Woodway Dr., Suite 8008, Houston, TX, 77056, Attn: Leigh Ellen Key.  Be sure to include a note letting us know your name and which team you were on. 

    You can continue fundraising all fundraising leading up to August 31, 2018, will count towards awards party rankings. The awards party will take place this fall. $1,000 and more incentives can be earned through June 9, 2018. If you are a Hope Giver (raised more than $1,000 individually), you will receive an email explaining how to claim your post walk incentives shortly.

    Thousands of volunteers have helped the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation work toward our mission to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Since its launch in 2008, Take Steps has been a powerful force in connecting the patient community and accelerating crucial research into the causes of IBD. Because of the dedication and commitment from more than 300,000 walkers, Take Steps has raised more than $85 million for research efforts.

    All fundraising leading up to August 31, 2018, will count towards awards party rankings. The awards party will take place in the Fall!
