Way to go!

Thank you all so much for joining us on Saturday at the 2015 Take Steps Walk. I coundn't be prouder of this incredible group of volunteers, walkers and donors. You are all amazing.  Together, we raised more than $118,000 toward our mission. Thank you!

Stay tuned for photos.

Challenge Accepted??

We've got 4 days to raise a lot of funding for CCFA. This will be used to support critical programs such as support groups, Camp Oasis and educational events - not to mention the research initiatives that are changing lives every day! We can do it but we need 100% participation. Please, make sure every single person walking with you has made a donation and please try and do one final awareness posting and fundraising request. No pain, no gain!

Walk Details!

This year's walk will take place at Sherwood Island Park in Westport on Saturday, June 6th. Registration opens at 9 am and so does the party! We'll have music, games, crafts, face painting and more. Around 10:15 we start our program and 10:30 we'll enjoy a 1.5 mile stroll along the water and through the park. Hang out after for some food courtesy of Bertucci's in Westport and enjoy a performance from a local dance crew!

Don't forget to get registered before walk day - it's really important that we have an accurate head count before June 6th so we can provide enough food, water and supplies!

Let the countdown begin!

We are just a few days away from the 2015 Take Steps Walk and we've got a lot of work to do. This spring, the Fairfield/Westchester Chapter is hoping to raise more than $350,000 in critical funds for CCFA and its many resources, educational programs and research initatives. We are on our way but we need YOUR HELP! Get your team activated, recruit walkers (and get them fundraising too) and let's get that thermometer moving.

Whatever your goal is, please try to exceed it by $50. I know we can do this together.

Call or email if you need help, would like ideas or just want to chat. (914) 812-8988/amueller@ccfa.org.

Step 4: Raise Money

The national fundraising average per person is $250 encourage your each of your of your team members to beat the national average. Approach the businesses you frequent, or even better, ask your own company! Lead by example, by making the first donation your own!

Step 5: Create Excitement
