  • Meet our Local Hero: Alden

    Alden Wood Photos.jpg

Through all his challenges with Crohn's Alden has kept a positive attitude!  He focuses on what he can do and how he can help other kids like him.  Alden teamed up with one of his favorite infusion nurses, Lowell and the local radio station to help raise awareness and funds!

Alden loves to spend time with his family, running track, playing tennis and cheering on the Panthers!

Alden walked with Team Nunnelee in 2016 and is excited to join them again this year as a team member and Honoreed Hero!

  • Volunteer

Thousands of volunteers have helped the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) work toward our mission to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to provide a high level of support, education, research, and resources to our IBD community.
