  • Event Time:   Registration, food and festivities begins at 4pm.  The opening ceremonies will be at 5:30 pm with the walk starting at 5:45 pm.  Food and festivities will take place from 4 pm until 5:30 pm when the program begins. Walk-up registrations and donations are welcome.
  • Donations:  It’s not too late to continue to fund the mission of research, education, support and Camp Oasis for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Make sure to make a self-donation, ask families and friends for donations or even co-workers and neighbors. Our goal is to have everyone walker in attendance be a paid walker by having some level of donation attached to their name. This helps us cover our expenses and allows us to give as much funds straight to our mission. Go to to donate today!

  • Event Fun:  The walk will feature a DJ, face painting, balloon artist, and some other games for the kids. There will be BBQ pork and hot dogs, yogurt, chips, cookies and water. Please do bring your own snacks and food if you have dietary restrictions.

  • Bringing donations to the walk:  All money needs to be in a walker envelope.  Please write your Team Name on the envelope. If you or your team members are bringing donations to the walk, please make sure each team member has their own walker envelope filled out completely so that we can apply those dollars to the correct team member account.  If you have a lot of coins, please convert them into cash or check made out to CCFA.  We can also accept credit card donations onsite.
  • Incentives:  Any registered participant who raises $100 per their own individual fundraising account will receive an event T-shirt.  At $250 you’ll receive a baseball cap, and at $500 a long sleeve t-shirt.  Incentives are cumulative.
  • Check the weather and dress appropriately!  Event goes on rain or shine, unless there’s severe weather, in which case we’ll try to contact participants.

We look forward to seeing you!!  If you have any questions at all, please let me know!

Thank you again for your support of CCFA! And we look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Madison, Take Steps to Find Cures

Register to Walk!

Our Take Steps walks offer a wonderful day for family, friends and the community to celebrate all of the efforts that have been put forth in raising funds towards our mission.  Our walk events are filled with live music, food, kids’ entertainment, educational materials, and, of course, wonderful exposure for our corporate partners.

Take Steps for Crohn’s & colitis is a family friendly community walk dedicated to raising awareness and mission-critical funds for cures for digestive diseases.  In the past five years alone, we succeeded in bringing together over 100,000 people and raised close to $40 million to help further CCFA’s mission.

80 cents of every dollar raised goes towards breakthrough research, public and professional education, and patient support services in communities across the nation.

Register today. Join thousands of others in the fight against digestive diseases.
