Colorado River Valley Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis presented by Alpine Bank

Glenwood Springs, Take Steps to Find Cures

Register to Walk!

Our Take Steps walks offer a wonderful day for family, friends and the community to celebrate all of the efforts that have been put forth in raising funds towards our mission.  Our walk events are filled with live music, food, kids’ entertainment, educational materials, and, of course, wonderful exposure for our corporate partners.

Take Steps for Crohn’s & colitis is a family friendly community walk dedicated to raising awareness and mission-critical funds for cures for digestive diseases.  In the past five years alone, we succeeded in bringing together over 100,000 people and raised close to $40 million to help further CCFA’s mission.

80 cents of every dollar raised goes towards breakthrough research, public and professional education, and patient support services in communities across the nation.

In addition to a beautiful Walk, join us for LIVE MUSIC by the Leonard Curry Trio Band, a LIVE AUCTION, KIDS ACTIVITIES (including art, a bounce house and BUTTONS THE CLOWN), FREE FOOD and more!

We will have a live auction with many great items to bid on at the Walk.  We have one special item that we are starting the bidding on now, as well.  Here is the info and photo of the 14x18 giclee painting (which will be in the showcase at the Glenwood Springs Alpine Bank on Grand):

Linda Holway, area Artist and supporter of the CCFA, and someone who has experienced this difficult disease -  is offering this 14 x 18 giclee painting to the Highest bidder.  Your bid will help in the funding efforts to find a cure for many children and adults who suffer with Crohn’s and colitis.

Linda became a creative and qualified artist from many years of classes and influences from very well known artists – Landscapes are her passion – to her they bring an expression of peace and healing through the beauty and colors of nature.  Her style is rich with color and texture and is best described as semi-impressionistic. Painting with acrylic or watercolor medium is where Linda is able to capture just the right colors for each season.

Thank you for the opportunity to share Linda’s painting and philosophy with you.  Her hope is that you will bid and purchase this painting, with all proceeds going to CCFA.   Owning this painting, that is so symbolic of the beautiful and healing Roaring Fork Valley and displaying it in your home or business would be an honor to CCFA and all that have participated in the Take Steps Walk.

Register today. Join thousands of others in the fight against digestive diseases.
