        My name is Marla Mayer and I have suffered with Crohn's disease for over 25 years. When I was 11 years old I became extremely ill. It seemed like suddenly out of nowhere I developed symptoms of high fevers, blood, severe abdominal pain, fatigue and much more. In 2007, I was 7 years old and was having bad stomach cramping along with explosive diarrhea for months. My pediatricians kept saying it was just a virus and it has to runs it coarse.  I kept going back and forth to the doctors pleading with them please do something it is getting worse but they kept saying it will go away, there is nothing we can do. Months go by and I keep having accidents in school, at friends’ houses, even my own bedroom was too far away from the bathroom.  It was approximately 6 months later by time I actually got in to see a GI more
