Register to Walk!

What a day!!!!

Thanks to your efforts, not only did we have the largest walk for our chapter to date, we also raised a record-breaking $230,000 to fund ground-breaking research in the fight against Crohn's and Colitis!!  YOU are the reason we are that much closer to a cure!!

We'd like to thank all of our sponsors, our Board of Directors, our Revenue Chair, Doug Link, the highest revenue producing team IN THE COUNTRY, Host Hotels and Resorts, the largest team IN THE COUNTRY, Team New Psalmist with 326 registered participants, lead by a member of our National Board of Trustees, Bishop Thomas, all our Loud and Proud teams, Always Recycling, Pat's Crohn's Crew, Team Redmiles, our honored hero Jordyn Baylin and her team Drama Club, the Take Steps Planning Committee, our in-kind sponsors, our volunteers, our team captains and all of our participants!   It is because of you that we are "Taking Steps" towards a cure!!

I want to also send a huge shout out to our irreplaceable Board Member, Tricia Rust, for her service and company, Kerley Signs, donating ALL the signs and banners for our event!  Thank you, Kerley Signs!!

- Raise $500 and get a Take Steps T-shirt, a Take Steps Hat and a Take Steps long-sleeved T-shirt

- Raise $1000+ and be eligible for post-walk incentives (Hats and long-sleeved T-shirts are NOT cumulative)

Valid for all individual fundraising participants.  Incentives based on individual total, not team total.

Example 1 - Jack and Jill are both members of Team Jack.  They each raised $125 individually, making their team total $250.  They each receive a T-shirt.

Example 2 - Jack raised $300, while Jill raised $65, bringing the team total to $365.  Jack would receive a T-shirt and a hat.

Example 3 - Jack is the only person on the team that fundraised  and reached $600 for Team Jack.  Jack brings 5 family members to the walk. Jack would receive 1 T-shirt, one hat and one long-sleeved T-shirt.

Example 4 - Bobby is not registered on Team Jack but he donated $100 to Jack and has come to walk with him.  Jack would receive a T-shirt.

Example 5 - Billy is a registered team member on Team Jack.  He donated $100 to Jack but did not  raise any funds on his own.  Jack would receive a T-shirt.  If Billy would like to receive the T-shirt instead, he could make the $100 a self-donation, credited to his account on Team Jack OR he could make the $100 donation to Jack and raise an additional $100 to be credited to his personal membership within Team Jack.

Example 6 - Billy's team has raised $2500, with Billy raising half, $1,000 individually.  Billy will receive a t-shirt and will be eligible to claim post-walk incentives.

*All money raised by individuals on a team will be credited to the overall Team goal, however, the money will be tracked through the individual's fundraising efforts per each member's account and the money collected individually determines the individual incentives.
