Keep the Faith
I was diagnosed with Crohn's when I was 21 years old. I was operated on for removal of my appendix but they found I had Crohn's disease. With that said, I have lived with this disease for 44 years.
Back in those days, there was but one medication to take and that was called azulfidine. I was on that for years, not sure if it helped or not. Forty four years later, there are many drugs available and the research that the Foundation has done is just remarkable. I feel a cure is just around the corner, maybe not in my lifetime but surely for those young patients who have developed this disease.
Keep the faith, donate to the Foundation, and don't let this disease beat you. It did not beat me. I would not let it.
