New Site for Denver Take Steps Walk

City Park, DenverWe are thrilled to announce that the new site for the 2012 Denver Take Steps Walk will be at the beautiful City Park.  See photos of the park and the surrounding area here.

There is lots in store for the 2012 Walk so we hope to see you on June 16.  The Denver Take Steps Walk will occur on Saturday, June 16 from 4 pm - 7 pm at City Park.  The park is located between 17th Street and 23rd Street and between York Street and Colorado Blvd.  Last year’s event welcomed 2,000 walkers in attendance at the Denver Zoo and reached its goal of $190,000.  In 2012, we will attempt to raise $225,000.  Some of the avenues to raise funds include: sponsorships, team fundraising, and wrap-around events.  The opportunities for companies to get involved with the 2012 walk are limitless, compared to other years at the Denver Zoo including sponsorships, food donations, product giveaways, entertainment added value, etc.  The major differences between 2012 and in the past will include: new walk site, more variety of food, expanded Kids Area, increased vendors and a Team Village.  Sign up Today at www.cctakesteps.org/Denver.
