CCFA Hometown Heroes = Extraordinary Impact

Header

Hero (noun) Definition: A hero is often used to describe a being that is larger than life. A hero has a special power or skill that separates him/her from the ordinary— and it is that power that is used to help bring change to the world.

In the world of IBD we believe heroic powers to be of a more subtle nature; courage, sense of humor, bravery, hope. These heroic powers will battle digestive diseases beginning with your borough, take on the city of New York, and one day change the world. Our hope is to rally the boroughs of New York City by selecting 5 Hometown Heroes who will join together in a furious fight against digestive diseases.

Do you or someone you know have an innate spirit to lead the charge in the fight against Crohn’s disease or UC? With over 38,000 New York City residents affected by these diseases we are looking for 5 Hometown Heroes to represent each of the boroughs.
