Attend the Atlanta Pediatric, Adolescent and Parent Support Group
There are several meetings to choose from if you'd like to attend the Atlanta Pediatric, Adolescent and Parent support group. There are fun activities planned by Child Life Specialist, Hillary Bauer, for both children (under 12 years old) and teens (13-18 years old). The parent session will have discussions based on topics requested by parents.
The entire family is encouraged to attend; siblings and relatives are welcome to the group. Children will go to break-out sessions based on their age, however children under the age of three will need to stay in the parent group session. Light snacks and bottled water will be available for everyone. The only fee is for parking in the parking deck, and the approximate cost is $3 to $4.
Contact Mary Esna-Ashari, Director of Education and Support at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America at 404-982-0616 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions.

Atlanta Take Steps is Only Four Months Away!
We are gearing up for an exciting and successful Take Steps Atlanta event for 2014. To get us to our goal of raising $230,000, teams are signing up, personalizing their webpages and planning fundraising events.
Take Steps for Crohn’s & colitis is a family friendly community walk dedicated to raising awareness and mission-critical funds for cures for digestive diseases. In the past five years alone, we succeeded in bringing together over 100,000 people and raised close to $40 million to help further CCFA’s mission. Our walk events are filled with live music, food, kids’ entertainment, educational materials, and, of course, wonderful exposure for our corporate partners.
We would like to give special thanks to the sponsors that have already committed to join us: Autotrader.com, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Classic Tents & Events, Northside Hospital, and Principle Solutions Group.
Michael Weinberg, VP Hotel Revenue Global Technology for InterContinental Hotels Group, is the 2014 Atlanta Take Steps Revenue Chair. Michael has stepped in and committed to raising critical funds and awareness. Join us in Welcoming Michael!
Join the fight and sign your team up for the Atlanta Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis walk, on Saturday, May 17th at: http://cctakesteps.org/atlanta.
