CCFA's GI Buddy has just won the Outstanding Website Award from the Web Marketing Association's 11th Internet Advertising Competition! The IAC recognizes the best online advertising in 96 industries.

The tool has also been quite successful since its launch six months ago. We've had almost 11,000 visits to the online portal and over 5,400 downloads of the iPhone app. Not only that, users show their continued use of the tool with 56% of users loggin in more than once per month on average.

Pain in IBD.jpgPain in IBD: Participate in the causes & treatment options webcast

One of the most common symptoms among patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis is paini, but there is very little research on therapeutic approaches for pain in the IBD population. This program will provide patients and loved ones the information on causes of pain in IBD, and discuss various therapies that may provide relief. The event will also discuss the overlap between IBD and IBS, and how research on IBS may inform treatment of pain in IBD.
