Take Steps National Capital Area

 

Over 850 people joined us on a beautiful, sunny day at the Washington Monument on June 22nd. It was an amazing celebration of spirit, energy, and commitment to finding a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis!

So far we have raised over $265,000 but donations are still coming in and we are expecting to hit our $300,000 goal! Congratulations! We encourage you to continue your collections and fundraising through July 2013!

This season, we are bringing back our most popular event (Las Vegas Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon) as well as adding a NEW event, the Clearwater TriRock. Seeking Mentors


 The Chapter is still looking for mentors for the Power of Two Program. This is a support program where volunteers provide adults and supervised children with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, parents of children with IBD, and other family members with one-on-one phone or email support.
