Miles Toward a Cure
First time Portland Team Challenge teammate Lisa Knapton exemplifies what it means to fight and overcome adversity. Before her trip to the running store in February, she had never heard of Team Challenge and had met only a few people who are connected to IBD. In less than a month, she will be completing the Team Challenge Napa to Sonoma ½ marathon having raised thousands of dollars for a cure!
Read Lisa's story here and join her by walking or running for a cure with Team Challenge in Las Vegas! Check out ccteamchallenge.org for more information.
Take Steps Summer Season is a Wrap with Over $290,000 Raised in Support of CCFA!
CCFA Northwest sends a giant THANK YOU to all of our Take Steps walkers, sponsors and volunteers who helped us raise $290,000 and counting in support of the Northwest Region of CCFA and the Foundation’s mission. We had a great time at walks in Seattle, Portland, Anchorage and Boise and met so many amazing fundraisers and advocates for people with inflammatory bowel disease.
Fall Take Steps walks in your area! If you missed one of our summer walks, we are already working hard on our fall Take Steps Walks in Spokane Valley, Billings & Bend. Check out www.cctakesteps.org to join us and be heard in the fight against Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
