Great News About CCFA

Great news - in the most recently published Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Guide, published by the BBB Wise Giving Alliance, CCFA received the highest rating! The Alliance helps donors make informed giving decisions and promotes high standards of conduct among organizations that solicit contributions from the public. It produces reports about national charities, evaluating them against comprehensive Standards for Charity Accountability, and publishes a magazine, the Wise Giving Guide, three times a year.

Additionally, we have received notice of a grant from the Helmsley Trust in the amount of $6.7 million. This grant will support 14 Research Fellowship Awards and 10 Career Development Awards. This also includes $600,000 in support of the new constituent management system and $2.3 million in support of our training awards.  CCFA is fortunate to have cultivated an on-going relationship with Helmsley. The first grant we received was in 2009 of $5.7 million. Since then, we have received a grant total of $42.7 million! They have supported our Microbiome Initiative, Genetics Initiative, Senior Research Awards, Training Grants, and even some infrastructure support. Congratulations to Chief Development Officer Judi Brown and her team for continuing to nurture this important relationship.
