Take Steps National Capital Area
Thank you to all of our team captains, participants and sponsors for helping us make the National Capital Area Take Steps walk another success in 2012. We had a beautiful day at the Washington Monument filled with spirit, energy and commitment to finding a cure for IBD! We have not quite reached our $300,000 goal, but we can get there! We have until July 31st to reach individual, team and collective goals and here is a great opportunity to not only raise additional funds for your team and CCFA.

Rock the Strip at Night with Team Challenge!
Team Challenge DC is now recruiting participants for the Las Vegas Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon on December 2nd. Whether you're a runner, walker, experienced runner, or beginner, our coaches on staff will get you to the finish line at the largest half marathon in the world at night. Participants receive paid airfare to Vegas, three night stay at the Venetian, tickets for race weekend events, training apparel, access to our coaches on staff, and resources on how to raise funds in support of CCFA. Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon Recap
Team Challenge had a terrific weekend. Our team of 90 strong has raised over $250,000 to date. We were the largest team at the half marathon and raised the most money out of every team there.

Part Time Employment Opportunity
Team Challenge is looking for part time employees to help distribute brochures to local businesses over the next two weeks to advertise our Vegas season. This is a perfect opportunity for students looking for a summer job. Applicants must have a car. Employees will be compensate for their time. All interested individuals please email jdean@ccfa.org.
Play on the Pitch is a 5v5, adult, coed soccer tournament benefiting the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America. Players will have the opportunity to battle it out for the chance to play at RFK Stadium, home pitch to four-time MLS Cup Winner, D.C. United. Each team will raise funds to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, two chronic and often debilitating digestive diseases that impact 1.4 million Americans. In addition to some great player premiums, awards will be given to the winning team, as well as top fundraising team!!
