With spring finally upon us, CCFA is busy expanding our efforts to make better treatments for Crohn's and ulcerative colitis a reality.

We are excited that within the first year, The CCFA Genetics Initiative had already discovered at least two genetic pathways that are targetable by existing chemicals/drugs - one of which has already proven to be safe in humans. Launched in 2012, The Initiative is a collaboration of the brightest minds in genetics research. Working together, this team of world-renowned researchers is currently leading the way in breakthrough genetic science related to IBD.

Whether you are participating in one of our special events, Take Steps walks or a Team Challenge endurance event, we thank you for your support. Every donation helps advance this type of cutting edge research, as well as supports advocacy on Capitol Hill and helps patients manage their disease.
