nvites you to join us for a FREE informational presentation and interactive question-and-answer session that will help you sort through treatment options for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD).

When: Wednesday, May 9, 2012: 6:00 PM check-in / 6:30 PM program begins

Where: Boise State University - Student Union Building, Room Jordan A (1700 University Drive, Boise, ID 83725)

Who:  Program content has been prepared for patients, family members, and caregivers of patients living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, although health care professionals are also invited to attend. This program may be especially beneficial to health care professionals who are looking to learn more about inflammatory bowel disease.

Registration is free. Pre-registration will close on Monday, May 7, 2012, but last-minute registration will be available at the event for those who miss the deadline. Light refreshments will be provided.

Program topics include:

  • Risks and benefits of medication, surgery, and integrative treatments in IBD
  • Impact of treatment adherence on disease management and quality of life
  • Talking with your health care team about your treatment plan
  • Question-and-answer session
